Başkonuş Yaylası is a wonder of nature within the limits of Kahramanmaraş Forestry Department that contains a lot of endemic plants, primarily hyacinth and Anatolian orchid, and it is a stop for migratory birds. The forest is a home to deers and birds while preserving its natural structure with colorful flowers and endemic plants, containing the trees of fir, cedar, oak and juniper.
